About Us
In 2010, a father and his two sons began building a camper to meet their camping needs. Over the years, the business has expanded from a garage to a proud South African factory that now employs 60 staff. They now manufacture more than 150 campers per year and have multiple agents in South Africa and Namibia. They have also exported to several countries, including Germany, France, the UK, Dubai, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, and Angola.
The goal has always been to create a sturdy camper with all the necessary amenities for comfortable off-grid camping, while still being easy to tow and store in a garage.
The lightweight yet durable fibreglass body and other components are produced in our fibreglass plant. Meanwhile, our metalwork and canvas divisions start by manufacturing the canvas and metal parts. When these three production lines come together at our assembly plant, the Invaders start to take shape. After testing and a thorough PDI, the Invaders are finally ready to leave the nest and be shipped off to their new destination.
The Invader design team is constantly exploring innovative ways and taking customer feedback into consideration to enhance the product. The Invader factory collaborates with sales agents who are passionate about the camping industry, prioritize exceptional customer service, and possess in-depth knowledge of our campers.
Over the years, Invader camping clubs have been established, as well as organized Invader tour groups for those seeking an African adventure.
Owning an Invader is not just about owning a camper. It is becoming part of a family.
